Humpback whales are a marvel to see and if you are lucky enough to swim with them, it can be a spiritual experience. Gentle giants. I swam with them in Tonga twice and the Silver Banks in the Dominican Republic. It's magical.

Well, kind of. I was photographing the first whale when the second one came out and as it went in, a calf came out. I wish they would synchronize better! Hawaii. 2022
